giving thanks

Although my youngest daughter is clearly not American, one can always give thanks…
Her blessings are counted as follows:

1. My Bed
(Although she seems to far prefer sleeping in ours these days)

2. The Kitchen
(this kid knows which side HER bread is buttered on)

3. My Dog
(Who is by far the most recognizable face in her family portrait)

Here's wishing all of my American readers a warm and cozy Thanksgiving.
Turkeys in the oven, stuffing on the counter, gravy in the bowl, time with your family.

You know – all the good stuff.

  1. your youngest daughter is ever an original!

  2. as are you, my ever-faithful commenter ;-)

  3. 'My bed' gets a mention twice. I hear ya Cecily. A gal after my own heart.

  4. she brings it down to the absolute essentials of human live: Sleep, food and snuggling. it does not need more to be thankful.
